Remember to replace the stuffing box at the same time!

When replacing the steering cable, it is highly recommended to also change the stuffing box (billet nut kit + half-ring + grommet). This small sealing kit, often overlooked, ensures the cable's retention and sealing as it passes through the hull. A worn or cracked stuffing box can cause water ingress and accelerate the wear of the new cable. Take advantage of the intervention to replace everything at once.
