Overview
The steering cable end, also known as a rod end, is the direct mechanical link between your steering cable and the steering nozzle. On Sea-Doo models with Rotax 4-Tec and DI (Direct Injection) engines, this cable is subjected to significant stresses: torsion, vibrations, exposure to saltwater and UV. A faulty rod end results in stiff, imprecise, or blocked steering, or even cable breakage—a dangerous situation at high speeds.
This replacement rod end is designed for the GTX DI, GTX 4-Tec, RXT, and Wake ranges from 2002 to 2014. It screws directly onto Bombardier OEM references 277001438, 277001578, and 277001555, with direct, no-modification installation.
