Why Replace the Fuel Level Sensor?

The level sensor is constantly immersed in fuel and subjected to repeated thermal cycles. Over time, the float can stick, contacts oxidize, and resistance drifts, making the on-board gauge completely unusable. Ignoring these signs can lead to running out of fuel at sea, a potentially dangerous situation.
