Why Replace the VTS Trim Motor?
A worn, seized, or damaged VTS motor can prevent the nozzle from adjusting. Before replacing it, check the controls, connections, power supply, and for any mechanical blockage: a trim failure does not automatically mean the motor is at fault.
- No movement despite verified controls and power supply.
- Intermittent operation or irregular movement of the mechanism.
- Unusual noise, seized motor, or signs of corrosion.
Inspect the connections and the tightness of the mounting during seasonal preparation and work on the propulsion unit. Replace the motor after confirming its failure; no systematic periodic replacement is recommended here.

These parts concern notably common 2-stroke Sea-Doo models listed on this sheet, such as the GSI 1997, GSX 1996–1997 and SPX 1996–1998. They are not offered as compatible with all the 1503 applications listed above. Compare the part numbers and the contents of each sheet before ordering.
