Why Replace the Propulsion Block Seal?

A deteriorated, deformed, or improperly positioned seal no longer performs its function correctly and affects the water circuit essential for cooling the engine. This small part should therefore not be overlooked. When removing the jet pump block, inspecting it helps prevent reinstalling a damaged part.

  • Visible crack, tear, or deformation.
  • Uneven compression or poor retention in the housing.
  • Leakage localized at the seal.
  • Deterioration during removal of the propulsion block.

Inspect the seal during every intervention on the jet pump block. Replace it based on its condition, at the slightest doubt.
